Bohemia Style is a Comodo Certified Hacker Proof site! What does that mean? It means that our servers are impervious to malicious attacks. Even though Bohemia Style does not store any financial information in its database (credit card numbers, checking account data, etc), we wanted to certify our store under the most stringent payment industry data security standard (PCI DDS).

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of 12 requirements intended to prevent consumer data theft and online fraud and was jointly developed by American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Inc. The PCI DSS is now actively maintained by the PCI Security Standards Council, and represents a multifaceted standard that includes requirements for security management, policies, procedures, network architecture, software design and other critical protective measures.

At present, only websites that store sensitive financial information are required to be PCI - Hacker Proof compliant. Why would Bohemia Style go through the trouble of obtaining hacker proof certification? Because we want every aspect of our customer's information, even addresses and phone numbers, to be 100% secured!
